SANTA CHIQUITA

The poster is a graphic creation of N. Zafeiropoulos printing. In the centre, on a red background, lays a black-and-white photograph of the two leading actors, Vasilis Logothetidis and Ilya Livykou, embracing each other. Right below it: “The big hit by A. Sakellarios – Chr. Giannakopoulos” appears. And further below, the title of the film, in big white minuscules, in a black outline on a blue background, reads: “Santa Chiquita”. The initial letters of the words are capital. The accents are marked as two yellow stars and the entire title is underlined by a yellow line. Next to the title lays the photograph of the two leading actors that appears in the centre of the poster, in a smaller size. Below the title, in smaller black capital letters: “Copyright: I. The poster is a photographic collage of representative comic scenes from the film, with Vasilis Logothetidis doing various grimaces and dance moves, playfully conveying the point of the title “Santa Chiquita”. The comic element is further emphasized by the apposition of the three basic colours, red, yellow and blue, which are used as a background.
